Dashboard for Security of Supply
As a transmission system operator, bayernets bears particular responsibility for security of supply in Bavaria, southern Germany, Tyrol and Vorarlberg, as well as for neighbouring national and international networks. In order to maintain the high supply security standards, our transport network must always be able to fulfill the necessary transport requirements.
On this dashboard, we provide you with an overview of the storage levels that are particularly relevant for our network area as well as relevant information on current gas consumption data of directly connected network customers and temperature data (historical and forecast).
Storage Data
The storage facilities directly or indirectly connected to our network in Bierwang, Breitbrunn, Haidach (AT)*, 7 Fields (AT)*, Wolfersberg and Inzenham are decisive for the security of supply in southern Germany. The following chart shows the current and historical filling levels of these storage facilities over the last 5 years.
* the storage shares allocated to Germany in accordance with the bilateral agreement between Germany and Austria dated 17 February 2023
Gas Consumption Data
The following chart shows the weekly gas consumption data of industrial customers directly connected to our network. To categorise the data, the average consumption as well as the minimum and maximum of the last 3-5 years are also shown.
Temperature Data
A significant factor influencing gas consumption is the daily average temperature. The historical temperatures of the last 2 years (daily average or weekly average) and the forecast daily average temperature are shown here. The data refers to the temperature measuring point at Munich Airport, which is representative for our network area.
