Munich, 4 October 2016. - The Transmission System Operator bayernets GmbH, located in Munich, is expanding its Managing Board. Dr. Matthias Jenn (44) took on the newly created position of Commercial Managing Director from 1 October 2016. Mr. Rainer Dumke, who had previously been the sole Managing Director of bayernets GmbH, has taken on the position of Technical Managing Director and will now manage the business of the Bavarian Transmission System Operator together with Dr. Matthias Jenn.

Prior to joining bayernets GmbH, Dr. Matthias Jenn worked for the Stadtwerke München for five years, initially in the legal department and later in the area of Strategy and Corporate Controlling. Previously, he had worked for several years as a lawyer in an international accounting firm in Munich. He completed his legal studies at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich and at the University of Wales in Swansea.
