For the first time, German transmission system operators publish market demand reports in accordance with Article 26 of EU Regulation 2017/459 (Network Code on Capacity Allocation Mechanisms) to determine new shipping capacity that is to be created at the borders of the market areas GASPOOL and NCG.

In the time period from 6 April to 1 June 2017, market participants had the opportunity to submit their non-binding capacity demands at market area and cross-border points. The capacity demand indications were analysed in the published market demand assessment reports in order to determine the demand for new transport capacity. The reports can be found on the FNB Gas Capacity website (www.fnb-gas-capacity.de).
